The adult romantic comedy manga by Nigou Shouji is heading to screens this summer, complete with a confirmed premiere date, an early streaming window, and an officially revealed theme song.
The production team behind the upcoming anime adaptation of My Classmate's a Sexy Actress, and Now We Live Together has officially locked in a July 5 premiere date. Alongside the announcement, the team unveiled a censored key visual and a safe-for-work trailer, which also served as the debut platform for the anime's theme song — "Mirai Contrail" by Sakura Momo.

Fans in Japan won't have to wait until the broadcast premiere to catch the series. AnimeFesta and DDM TV's streaming platform will both air the first episode as early as June 12. Following the standard AnimeFesta model, the series will be available in both a censored broadcast version and a premium uncensored streaming version for subscribers.
Western Licensing: As of the time of this writing, no North American or European streaming service has announced a license for My Classmate's a Sexy Actress, and Now We Live Together. International fans may need to wait for further licensing announcements.
The anime is based on the manga Onaji Semi no Someya-san ga AV Joyū datta Hanashi by Nigou Shouji, which ran in KATTS' Ananga Langa magazine from 2023 to 2024. The serialization concluded at eight compiled chapters — a tight, self-contained story that the anime adaptation will bring to life.
Animation duties fall to Studio Hokiboshi, a studio best known for its work on adult anime titles such as Adam's Sweet Agony and Yoasobi Gurashi!. Narue Kurotsuguchi takes the director's chair for the project. The full production staff is as follows:
