BanG Dream!’s Virtual Band Mugendai Mewtype Gets 2026 TV Anime

BanG Dream!’s virtual all-girl band, Mugendai Mewtype, also called Yumemita, is receiving a TV anime in 2026 titled BanG Dream! Yume∞Mita. The series will be animated by Nichika Line, and a visual has also been unveiled. The announcement came during the band’s 4th live concert on September 7 at Tachikawa Stage Garden.

Along with the anime news, the band revealed plans to release a Blu-ray covering their 1st to 3rd lives, their first album, and details of an upcoming live tour.

The members of Mugendai Mewtype (Yumemita) include five female Vtubers: Nakamachi Arale (vocals), Miyanaga Nonoka (lead guitar), Minetsuki Ritsu (rhythm guitar), Fuji Miyako (keyboard), and Sengoku Yuno (DJ). Their debut song, “Mugen My World,” was digitally released in November 2023. Notably, this is the only band among the 10 main bands in the franchise that does not have a bassist or drummer.

BanG Dream! is a multimedia music project created by Bushiroad president Takaaki Kidani. The franchise began in January 2015, initially as a manga, before expanding into multiple media formats. Since then, BanG Dream! has grown to include additional manga series, TV anime, live concerts, singles and albums, VTuber projects, and the mobile rhythm game BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!
