Hero Without a Class: Who Even Needs Skills Anime Trailer, Release Date, Cast & Story (2025)

The forthcoming anime Hero Without a Class: Who Even Needs Skills has unveiled a new trailer on Friday, showcasing both the opening and ending theme songs, along with a premiere date set for October 1. The opening theme is titled "Reincarnation" by Kaya, while the ending theme is "Kiseki Nanka Iranai" performed by UTAHIME DREAM ALLSTARS.

The voice cast for the series includes:

Kensho Ono as Arel
Saori Hayami as Raina
Sumire Uesaka as Lilia
Rumi Okubo as Kufa

This anime adaptation of Hero Without a Class: Who Even Needs Skills?! is based on the light novel series authored by Shichio Kuzu, featuring illustrations by Yumehito Ueda, and is animated by studio A-Cat. The series is directed by Kaoru Yabana, with Chabo Higurashi responsible for the series composition. Character designs are handled by Takayuki Chiba and Xuewen Xu, while the music is composed by Kent Asahina.

Originally, the light novel was published online on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website from November 2017 to May 2020. It subsequently became part of Earth Star Entertainment’s catalog, with the print release under the Earth Star Novel imprint commencing in July 2018. Additionally, a manga adaptation illustrated by Akio Nanae was launched in November 2018 on Earth Star Entertainment’s Comic Earth Star website.

In a world where individuals receive a Class and Skills at the age of ten, significantly influencing their lives, Arel, the offspring of Sword Princess Farah and Archmage Leon, discovers that he possesses… no class whatsoever! Lacking a class and skills, Arel is left with no option but to rely on hard work. Thus, he embarks on a training journey, employing his wits and cunning to become a completely new kind of hero!
