Gabimaru - Hells Paradise: Jigokuraku Season 2

Studio MAPPA has also officially unveiled a new trailer of Hells Paradise: Jigokuraku Season 2, and three new cast members. The second season of the dark fantasy anime series will be released in January 2026.

Newly Announced Cast

The following voice actors have joined the lineup:

Maaya Uchida as Yamada Asaemon Kiyomaru
Sayaka Ohara as Yamada Asaemon Isuzu

Also publishing images of new characters, like Gabimaru, Yamada Asaemon Sagiri, Chobei Aza, Yamada Asaemon Toma, and Yuzuriha, in addition to the trailer, MAPPA also launched.

About The Series

Hells Paradise: Jigokuraku is inspired by the manga of the same title written and drawn by Yuji Kaku, which was published in Shonen Jump+ in 2018-2021. The show rapidly became popular due to its darker plot, high-action and emotional character development.

Crunchyroll, the streaming service that broadcasts the anime on a global scale, writes the plot as follows:

Gabimaru reigns as the strongest and most ruthless assassin in his village. But now finds himself on death row—with only one way out: retrieve the Elixir of Life from a sinister island. Longing for freedom, he accepts the challenge. But with fellow convicts vying for the same prize and demonic beasts lurking, how will Gabimaru survive this harrowing quest?
