New Trailer Released for Upcoming Anime I Want to Love You Till Your Dying Day

A new trailer has been unveiled for the upcoming anime I Want to Love You Till Your Dying Day, which is scheduled to premiere in July. The series will be animated by studio Roll2.

The anime will be directed by Yasushi Tomoda, with Jukki Hanada, known for Bloom Into You and Sound! Euphonium, handling the script. Character designs are created by Kyoko Fuyu (Spirit Chronicles), and music is composed by Yukari Hashimoto (A Sign of Affection). Takudai Kakuchi, previously credited as director, now serves as a creative advisor for the project.

The main voice cast includes:

Rie Takahashi as Sheena Totsuki
Rina Hidaka as Mimi Kagari
Asami Seto as Lizzy Seiran
Yui Ishikawa as Ali Maud

The anime adapts the manga by Aono Nachi, which ran in Ichijinsha’s Comic Yuri Hime from August 2018 to January 2020 before moving to online platforms PixivYurihime and Ichijin Plus. Kodansha USA has licensed the series in English.

The story centers on an orphanage for girls that secretly trains magical child soldiers for a brutal war. Amid the challenges of this harsh world, love begins to grow between the characters. The series has drawn comparisons to titles like Revolutionary Girl Utena, Otherside Picnic, and Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury.
