Creator Comments
Muneyuki Kaneshiro, the manga’s original author, shared his excitement about Season 3:
“Season 3 is officially confirmed! Huge thanks to the Egoist production team. This marks a brand-new beginning for Isagi and for us as well. We’ll be creating this with full ego, eyes spinning, and tongues out—so get on your knees and wait for it!”
Yusuke Nomura, the manga’s illustrator, expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming storyline:
“It’s finally been announced! We’re bringing the Neo Egoist League to life on screen. The eccentric international players—who are even more intense than the Blue Lock team—are coming. Please look forward to it!”
Live-Action Film Details
The live-action film will be produced by CREDEUS, the studio behind the Kingdom and Golden Kamuy films, as well as Kokuhou, Japan’s second-highest-grossing live-action movie. CK WORKS will oversee executive production, while Toho will handle distribution. Previously, the series had been adapted into multiple stage plays, but this will mark its first full-scale live-action film.
