Pokémon Horizons: The Search for Laqua Part 4 Premieres on September 26

This next release is called Pokémon Horizons: The Series — The Search for Laqua Part 4 and it will be released on Netflix on September 26.

First of all, this season was originally broadcast on February 7, the second one on April 25, and the third one on June 27.

Originally, The Pokémon Company noted that it would premiere on Netflix in the U.S. in February 2024, but the date was pushed to March 2024. It was later split into two parts in May, three parts in August, and four parts in November.

The anime premiered in Japan in April 2023 as an hour special. It is broadcast on Friday at 6:55 p.m. JST. The second arc, the title of which is Terapagos no Kagayaki (Brilliance of Terapagos), began in October 2023 and covers the episodes 29 and onwards. The Terastal Debut arc premiered in April 2024, and the fourth storyline began in October 2024. This new arc also includes characters from Kitakami, a region that appeared in the The Teal Mask expansion of the Pokémon Scarlet/Violet games.

The series introduces two brand-new main characters, Liko and Roy, who travel alongside the starter Pokémon Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly, as well as the Legendary Shiny Rayquaza. It also debuts Friede and Captain Pikachu, a professor-and-partner duo who join the adventure.

Saori Den (Mirage Queen Prefers Circus) directs the series, while Daiki Tomiyasu (Pokémon Sun & Moon, Pocket Monster Mezase Pokémon Master) serves as creative director. Dai Satō (Eureka Seven, Wolf’s Rain, Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop) is in charge of series composition. The staff also includes Tetsuo Yajima as action director, Rei Yamazaki as character designer, Kyōko Itō as sub-character designer, Masafumi Mima as sound director, and Conisch as music composer.
