May I Ask For One Final Thing" Anime Premieres October 3 with New Trailer and Theme Songs

The upcoming May I Ask For One Final Thing anime revealed a brand-new trailer on Thursday, showcasing both its opening and ending theme songs, along with confirming an October 3 premiere. The opening theme, “Senjo no Hana,” is performed by CHICO with Honeyworks, while the ending theme, “Inferior,” is sung by Shiyui. An advanced screening will also be held on September 28 at United Cinemas Toyosu, where voice cast members Seto Asami, Kato Wataru, and Tomita Miyu will appear.

Asami Seto as Scarlet el Vandimion
Wataru Kato as Julius Von Pallistan
Shoya Ishige as Leonardo El Vandimion
Miyu Tomita as Nanaka
Kazuki Ura as Sigurd Forgrave
Taito Ban as Kyle Von Pallistan
Ai Kakuma as Terenezza Hopkins

Studio LIDEN FILMS is producing the series with Kazuya Sakamoto directing. Series composition is by Deko Akao, Eriko Haga is handling character designs, while music is by Hinako Tsubakiyama.

Based on the light novel series written by Nana Otori and illustrated by Satsuki, the story was first published online in April 2018. AlphaPolis has released six volumes since August 2018 under its Regina Books imprint. Sora Honoki launched the manga version in June 2019, which currently has nine volumes. AlphaManga summarizes it as:

At a ball, Scarlet’s fiancé Kyle suddenly annuls their engagement. Branded as a “Villainess” through false accusations, she faces denouncement by nobles and peers. After years enduring Kyle’s abuse and foolishness, she’s finally had enough! Her only request is a final chance to punch him square in the face. Thus begins Scarlet’s fiery tale of vengeance against Kyle and his allies. A fantasy of a graceful yet defiant heroine who refuses to be trampled upon!
